TODAY

Cosmo is a thriving city all on its own, we have tar roads, electricity, water (both pre-paid to every household), and the Police station in Ext 8 is a welcome home for many to report any crime in the area. Shoprite (the busiest supermarket in South Africa), in the mall there is a bottle store, Cell C, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Fish Aways (in my opinion, serves the best slap chips in the world). The main taxi rank is in Ext 5 by the Shoprite centre, but one is never short of transport in Cosmo City, there are many taxis running almost 24/7. Northgate Shopping Mall is about 7 minutes from Cosmo City; whatever else residents need it’s a stone’s throw from their home.

Selling in the City

Judy Parkin was selling homes in Sandton, and not very happy, a position came up for an agent in our company to sell in Cosmo City.

"I don’t live far from Cosmo City, and jumped at the idea, that was on 1 September 2006. Change is always good, so they say, well Cosmo City has become my second home, selling homes in every extension, loving what I do, and have made the most wonderful lifelong friends along the way. I have seen houses built from nothing to an amazing family home, the family Church run by Pastor Jack in Ext 3 - he first started preaching under the tree, then they got tents, and then a small hall was built - today it thrives, with parking, and an after care centre. It is very well supported by locals and people from afar. I have sat on the same corner just past the Church, on the right, opposite the park corner Croatia/Solvenia Roads for all the years I have been in Cosmo City.I believe I am part of the furniture and have been named COSMO QUEEN buy all the residents. The Queen looks after each and every client that goes through our company CHERNO DAVIS PROPERTIES. Going the extra mile for people starting out, the end result: happy families - I could never ask for more. God placed me in a very special area."

COSMO CITY.
